All are welcome to join us at 10 am on Sunday, May 5 for the Spring Music Service.  Choirs sing, hand bells ring and the organ joins in to create an uplifting musical experience.  Hope to see you there!

Notes from Rev. Heather

From the earliest days of human existence, music has been an expression of spirituality. Music comes from a place in our souls that words will never be able to reach. It can calm us when we are feeling unsettle, keep us company when we are sad, and express our joy and excitement.  And as we listen to the return of  birdsong in these early days of Spring, we may experience a sense of renewal and hope in the new life springing forth. Music is indeed an expression of Spirituality.

This Sunday, our spirituality will be overflowing with music! We will gather for worship with voices, bells, strings and percussion. It is the annual Spring Music Service at Sherwood Park and the church will be brimming with glorious sound.
Please join us.  Bring your voice whatever you believe it sounds like. Bring a heart ready to open wide and expand as we worship through music.
There will be a time to honour and recognize the staff at Sherwood Park United Church,  and coffee and cake after the service.
