All are welcome to join us for Service on Sunday, April 7 starting at 10 am.  Sunday school takes place during the service and coffee is served after the service.

Easter may have passed however our joy in new life still lays before us!
With this in mind, I would like to invite everybody to join us this Sunday for a ‘Holy Humour’ worship Service.  Holy Humour is an ancient tradition dating to Medieval times in Europe. People gathered, often in costume to celebrate the defeat of death. The Priests told jokes and funny stories with a moral conclusion, and everyone was invited to laugh and dance.

No one needs to feel pressured to dress up, however if you’d like to please feel free to wear a hat or something that makes you feel whimsical. Laughter in worship delights our God. There are more than enough times when life weighs us down and we can not summon even the faintest smile or chuckle. Let’s find a balance this week and come together to celebrate the Risen Christ with joy.  If you are in a place right now where joy is difficult to reach, please know that this community will offer joy for you and carry you in love.  So here we go…

Worship will not only be corny jokes, I promise.  However we will sing, pray and respond to the Easter Proclamation…He is Risen, with hearts filled with joy and laughter.
